Obans hidden Gem!....My wife found this place whilst we were on holiday in Oban last week and so glad she did. they have a wide range of Local Independent and European craft ale. The lady we spoke to (apology's didn't get your name) was friendly and helpful. If your in Oban and like me have keen tastebuds for Craft Ale this is a must!
Lovely tiny beer shop, lots of craft beer options here - just slightly overpriced.. response to owners response:whilst I always have, and always will support local businesses - Inc retailers of local products, the beers here are slightly more expensive than other retail outlets with the same products... ergo... slightly overpriced. I didn't have to buy these beers from your shop, but I did, and therefore accepted your prices - without questioning them. That was my choice, as was yours to comment on my opinion of that.
Fantastic craft selection only thing better was Karen who was super knowledgeable about the beers and provided me with some awesome recommendations!Would highly recommend as a regular or a stop on your way through to grab something delicious.
Excellent service! Shop owner gave great recommendations across the broad range of breweries in stock. All sorts of craft beers: IPA, NEIPA, DIPA, Red Ale, Stout, Porter, Session, loads! I was able to get some big mouthfeel phat IPAs, and some sweeter oaky reds. Thank you so much for being so friendly. I love exploring beer shops when away from home. This one was a bargain too! I usually have to drop £6-8 per beer, but I got 7 beers for less than £30
